Introduction:

Let’s check out the easiest guitar scale – E Major. We’re just going to use one string, so fear not!

A common misconception is that C major is the easiest scale. This may be true in some aspects, but when it comes to actually playing a scale on the guitar, E major is by far the easiest for just about every student.

  • Aim for steady, evenly paced notes
  • Play this at least three times whenever you practice guitar
  • Start by focusing on ascending (going up) and when this becomes easy for you, try descending (going down)
