Introduction:
A classic film franchise needs a class theme – and they sure have it with this Mission Impossible riff!
You might be thinking – “there’s no guitar in this theme, is there??”
You’re correct. The original version has no guitar in it, but can put anything on guitar. Plus, the newer versions of the theme have plenty of guitar, particularly in Mission Impossible 2.
Fun Fact: The rhythm of the notes in this song actually spell out the letters M and I in morse code (standing for Mission Impossible).

Notes:
- This piece is quite fast, so it’s ideal to keep it broken in half and then eventually piece them together.
- One trick to putting both halves together is to focus on the change back to fret 3 – it needs to be quite fast.
- Our fret numbers should be – 3 3 6 8 3 3 1 2
