Another classic but surprisingly challenging theme.

There are many variations that can be made to this riff, such as bending the 3 to a 4, instead of simply playing fret 4. As this is a beginner guitar course, we’ve kept it simple for now and left out the bend.

Part of the key to getting this song is to keep the picking consistent. All of the notes should be at the exact same pace.
Remember, the almost every student learns this song best using the following structure:
- 2 0
- 3 0
- Put them together – 2 0 3 0
- Add 5 4 – 2 0 3 0 5 4
- Add 0 0 to the start – 0 0 2 0 3 0 5 4
Our fret numbers are – 0 0 2 0 3 0 5 4
