Become A Real Musician

Most people think that music theory means music notation, but this isn’t entirely correct. Music notation is the written form of music (which we teach here at UGA), but music theory is the study of musical concepts and conventions.

We can help you learn chords, arpeggios, scales, triads, 7th chords, alterations, extensions, circle of fifths, chord progressions, secondary dominants, tritone substitution, modes, harmonic minor, melodic minor and much more. After all, you don’t know what you don’t know!

Master Music In Any Genre

Memorise Scales

Scales are essential for every musician. Whether it’s soloing, improvising or writing songs, knowing what notes to use (and how to use them) is a must.

Master Arpeggios

We can make it easy for you to recite the notes of every major and minor chord. But why stop there? Also learn 7th, 9th, 11th, 13, extensions, alterations, augmented and diminished chords!

Improve Musicianship

The better musician is always the person who knows more. Take your knowledge to the next level and become a better composer, songwriter and instrumentalist.

Theory Applied To Guitar

We specialise in guitar lessons, so applying music theory to the guitar is one of our specialties.

We can help take your playing to the next level by teaching you movable chords, theory for lead guitar, the notes of the fretboard, guitar scale shapes, modes, modal pentatonics, harmonic minor, melodic minor modes, circle of fifths, keys, tritone substitution, arpeggio shapes and much more.
